In September of 1981 Comedy Works became Denver's first nightclub to feature professional comedy entertainment on a full-time basis. Since that time, Comedy Works has grown to be one of the top stand-up comedy clubs in the country.
But Comedy Works is more than just a club...Comedy Works is an institution that regularly showcases the brightest and funniest comics nationwide. We also develop new talent, produce concerts, plan corporate meetings and team building, produce charitable functions and children's shows.

We've always presented the biggest names in stand-up comedy!!! And in our 24 year history we've have had the pleasure of presenting such superstars as Roseanne, Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Tim Allen, Rosie O'Donnell, Dennis Miller, Louie Anderson, Ellen DeGeneres, Jamie Foxx, Robert Klein, Richard Lewis, Bobcat Goldthwait, Brett Butler, Chris Rock, David Brenner and Dave Chappelle...in addition to today (and tomorrow's) up and coming talents. At any given time, you'll see the headliners that frequent our club on The Tonight Show, Late Show with David Letterman and any and all late night shows and in their own comedy specials.
